Since International Flights Opened, 9 Thousand Foreign Tourists Dominated By Australia Enter Bali

DENPASAR - Head of the Bali Provincial Tourism Office, Tjok Bagus Pemayun, said that since the opening of international flights on the Island of the Gods from February 3 to March 22, more than 9,000 foreign tourists have come to the Island of the Gods.

"Until now, more than 9 thousand from February 3 to March 22 and the most is Australia", said Pemayun, Tuesday, March 22.

According to him, since VoA was implemented on March 7, the average number of foreign tourists coming to Bali is around 100 people per day. However, by expanding the implementation of VoA for Foreign Travel Actors (PPLN) at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, from 23 to 42 countries, his party hopes that 200 foreign tourists will come per day.

"For now, the average is 100 foreign tourists to Bali. I am optimistic that I hope that (200) people per day. But now I don't know the state of the country, but what is clear is that with openness more and more people are coming", he said.

His party has not been able to predict how many foreign tourists will come to the Island of the Gods by expanding to 42 countries.

“Indeed, the number of guests is still limited. Hopefully later in November. We will still see the impact and we will evaluate it later this month because there are still limited guests", he said.
