The Same Case Has Been Arrested Twice, The Police Are Considering The Rehabilitation Of Roby Geisha
JAKARTA - Head of the South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Satres, AKBP Achmad Akbar, is investigating the punishment for Geisha band guitarist Roby Satria who was arrested for marijuana.
"We are still exploring the extent of the recidivist level in question, while we are looking for what the previous verdict was like," Akbar told reporters at the South Jakarta Metro Police, Monday, March 21.
However, Akbar said that the perpetrators had the right to rehabilitate. Therefore, he is reluctant to speculate whether Roby's sentence will be increased.
"In terms of the mechanism of the article, it's the same, yes. Only if from the point of view of his rights he asks for a rehabilitation assessment that needs to be considered, meaning that it needs to be related to the subjective aspect of investigators in viewing this case," he said.
For information, the police have named the suspect Roby Satria and his assistant, AJR, on suspicion of drug abuse.
They were arrested at the Music Studio House, Pancoran, South Jakarta, Saturday, March 19, evening.
For his actions, Roby is threatened with Article 111 paragraph 1 subsidiary 127 of Law No. 3 of 2009 concerning narcotics, the threat is a minimum of 4 years and a maximum of 12 years.
Meanwhile, AJR will be charged with Article 114 paragraph 1 subsidiary 111 subsidiary 127 of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics for a minimum period of 5 years and 20 years.
It is known, Roby has also been arrested for the same case.

He was first arrested by the police in October 2013. Roby was proven to be carrying 5.1 grams of marijuana. In his boarding room, the police also found marijuana rolled and caused the guitarist to be jailed for one year.
November 2015
Roby Satria was arrested in November 2015 for using marijuana. He consumed 1.5 grams of marijuana brought by an online motorcycle taxi. The plan, he will wear it while on vacation in Bali. At that time, Roby was sentenced to prison for six months and after his release, he returned to music with the band Geisha.
