Due To Heavy Rains, The Pondok Aren Area Was Submerged By Floods Of Up To 70 Centimeters

South Tangerang- The Pondok Aren area, South Tangerang (Tangsel) was surrounded by floods due to the high intensity of rain hitting the area.

The Head of BPBD for Tangsel City, Uci Sanusi, explained that the rain that had been pouring since this afternoon had caused a number of flooded areas to be submerged again.

Uci also said that the highest height in the village of Bulak reached 1 meter. While other areas vary from 30 to 70 centimeters.

“So there are 8 flood points, the heights of which vary from 30 centimeters to 70 centimeters. The highest is in Kampung Bulak," explained Uci, Thursday, March 17.

Meanwhile, South Tangerang BPBD Head of Preparedness, Essa Nugraha said that his party had distributed ready-to-eat food to 65 families (KK). He hopes the available food is right on target.

“We distribute ready-to-eat food for 65 families. God willing, all distributions are right on target," he said.
