Police Investigate Number Of Minors, Victims Of Abuse By Bajaj Driver In Duren Sawit
JAKARTA - The East Jakarta Metro Police are still investigating the Bajaj driver with the initials D, the alleged perpetrator of the sexual abuse of three minors.
"He has been taken into custody by the Duren Sawit Police and has been taken to the East Jakarta Metro Police. Now we are still investigating," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Pol Budi Sartono to reporters, Wednesday 9 March.
From the results of the interim examination, the Police Chief confirmed that the victims were promised to be given money by the perpetrators.
"If it's called 50 thousand here (the perpetrator gave money to the victim)," he said.
The police chief confirmed that there were three victims of sexual harassment.
"So there are three victims, but one victim has been proven. The assumption is three people, but one has fulfilled element one," he said.
Meanwhile, two other victims are still being examined as witnesses.
"We are still investigating the other two (victims)," he said.
Previously, it was reported that a middle-aged man with the initials D (53) did not move when he was caught by residents because he was caught molesting DS, a minor girl.
The perpetrator was arrested in the Pondok Bambu area, Duren Sawit sub-district, East Jakarta, Tuesday, March 8, evening.
The perpetrator, who works as a Bajaj driver, admitted that he had often done this to the victim.
"It has been more than 10 times to the victim," said perpetrator D to police officers when he was arrested.
