48 Families Victims Of Soil Liquefaction In Banten Receive Daily Basic Material Assistance

BANTEN – As many as 48 families of victims of soil liquefaction in Lebak Regency, Banten received a package of basic material assistance to meet their daily needs.

"We distributed basic goods to victims of the natural disaster from the help of volunteers," said the head of Curugpanjang Yadi village in Lebak, Monday, March 7.

The distribution of basic materials such as rice, cooking oil, snack, sardines, milk, bed mat, and medicines.

Yadi hopes that the basic supplies will ease their economic burden.

According to him, the distribution of the basic food packages is the result of donations from various volunteers who care for the victims of the mobile land disaster, including the Indonesian Healthy Volunteers.

In addition, the distribution of basic material assistance to meet food needs. Therefore, the village apparatus redistributed packages of basic ingredients and medicines, and vitamins from the residents of the victims of the movable land.

Meanwhile, a number of residents who were victims of the movable land said that they felt relieved after receiving packages of basic ingredients and medicines as well as vitamins for the family's food needs.

Currently, people affected by natural disasters are confused about meeting food supplies. In fact, Murti (55), a resident of Cihuni, Curugpanjang Village, has been living in a refugee camp for 14 days after the condition of the house threatened to collapse.

"We hope that the basic food package assistance will be sufficient for the family's food needs for the next 2 weeks," he said.
