Angelina Sondakh Answers Questions About The Possibility Of Re-Entering Politics: Family Is Now The Main Focus

JAKARTA - What is the plan of Angelina Patricia Pinkan Sondakh or known as Angelina Sondakh after she is no longer in prison? If there are parties who hope that this former Democrat Party politician will enter politics again, please be disappointed.

Quoted from her Twitter account @AngelinaSondakh, Monday 7 March, Angelina Sondakh confirmed that she would no longer be involved in the world of practical politics. At least for now because Angelina Sondakh does not mention 'separate' from the world of politics permanently.

"For now, I will not participate in practical politics anymore, the family is the main focus. Thank you for the prayers and support from friends," she said.

This once confirmed the thousands of questions that came to her. After being released from prison and undergoing a coaching program in the form of Leave Towards Release (CMB), Angelina Sondakh admits that she always gets questions about her future in politics.

The South Jakarta (South Jakarta) Penitentiary Agency (Bapas) provides conditions if Angelina Patricia Pinkan Sondakh (Angelina Sondakh) wants to leave the city. The head of the South Jakarta Fathers, Ricky Dwi Biantoro, said that this condition was only given if Angelina Sondakh had an important need.

"For leaving the city, it is indeed permitted to go out with family, seek treatment, work reasons. (For example) to meet family, Angelina's parents are in Manado, permission can be given to travel outside the city," said Ricky.

Ricky explained that his party would revoke Angelina's Free Leave (CMB), if she did not comply with the programs and guidance provided by the South Jakarta Corrections Bureau.

Angelina is required to report every two weeks until June 1, 2022. However, she can report face-to-face or virtual.

South Jakarta Regional Head of Clearance Guidance (BKD) Putu Aryuni explained the reason for being allowed to do virtual in reporting. This is based on the regulation of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Number 32 of 2020 regarding the handling of COVID-19.

"We will do it virtually where since COVID-19 there is a provision in the Minister of Law and Human Rights number 32 of 2020," she said.
