After Five Days Of Searching, A Victim Dragged By Cibanten River Found Dead

SERANG - The combined search and rescue team or the Banten SAR managed to find the victim who was dragged by the Cibanten River, Serang City in a dead condition.

"The victim who was dragged by the Cibanten River was found on the fifth day in the name of Gusti (18), a resident of Link Pasar Lama, Rt.03/03, Kota Baru District, Serang City," said Head of the Banten SAR Office Adil Triyanto when contacted, Sunday, March 6.

The joint SAR team included the Banten SAR Office of the Old Market Police, Kasemen Koramil, Banten BPBD, Tangerang PP Satpol, KRI National RAPI, UPI Akmapala, the community and Pancasila Youth and Gadamusa Bandung.

The joint SAR team was divided into two parts to carry out the first evacuation by searching the irrigation canal downstream and using a rubber boat as far as 13.72 km to Muara Cibanten.

Meanwhile, the second SAR team conducted a search around LKP and the Ki Demang Bridge with visual monitoring and cleaning up piles of garbage due to flooding.

With the division of the team, he said, to speed up the discovery of victims who were dragged by the Cibanten River.

However, the joint SAR team managed to find the victim in a dead state with a distance of 2 km from the LKP.

"The condition of the victim died and was handed over to the victim's family for burial," he explained.

He said that the discovery of the victim who was dragged by the Cibanten River caused the operation of the joint SAR team to be stopped.

They are now the joint SAR team returned to their respective units.
