League Results 1: Persik Kediri Draw Madura United 2-2 In Match In Bali

JAKARTA - Persik Kediri held against Madura United with a score of 2-2 in the matchday 29 of the BRI Liga 1 Indonesia 2021/22 which took place at the Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Bali, Saturday.

Madura United took the lead through Renan Da Silva, but Jaimerson's own goal buried the lead. Jaja then restored Madura United's lead before Persik forced a draw through Jeam Kelly Sroyer just three minutes before the dispersal of normal time.

The draw made the two teams not move from their respective positions in the standings. Persik is ranked ninth with a collection of 37 points while Madura United, which has six fewer points, is in 13th place.

Both teams launched attacks from the start to make the tempo of the match fast and Madura United almost opened the scoring when the game was only nine minutes old, unfortunately Jaimerson's hard shot was still wide on the left of the White Tiger goal.

Madura United were finally able to open the first goal through Renan Da Silva in the 19th minute who successfully took advantage of Bayu Gatra's bait to make the position 0-1.

A minute later, Laskar Sape Kerrab almost doubled the lead when Renan Da Silva was on the verge of a second goal, but this time goalkeeper Dikri Yusron was quick to secure the ball.

Persik's efforts to retaliate were often stalled in the Madura United defense until finally they were able to force Jaimerson to score an own goal three minutes before the break.

Both teams did not relax the tension of the game into the second half until Madura United finally restored the lead through Jaja who released a fine finish to end the collaboration with Dodi Alekvan Djin in the 55th minute.

Unfortunately, Madura United were caught off guard again and the victory that was in front of their eyes evaporated because goalkeeper Hong Jeong-nam failed to anticipate Jeam Kelly Sroyer's hard shot which brought Persik to force a 2-2 draw.
