Drunk In The Melawai Area Of South Jakarta, 3 Youths Threaten Residents With Knives

JAKARTA - Police arrested three young men who were drunk and beat and threatened residents on Jalan Bayam III, North Gandaria, South Jakarta.

The Head of the Precision Pioneer Patrol Team for the South Jakarta Metro Police, Ipda Nasirin, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 1, in the early hours of the morning.

The incident began when the Precision Team dismissed the three drunken youths from the Melawai area, South Jakarta. However, when they were disbanded, they clashed in Petogokan, Kebayoran baru, South Jakarta.

"It turned out that after arriving at the boarding house, they had an argument with the residents of Petogokan. When they arrived in Melawai until Petogokan, they were very drunk," Nasirin said when confirmed, Tuesday, March 1.

Nasirin has not been able to clearly explain the cause of the dispute between the three drunken youths and the residents of Bayam III, North Gandaria, South Jakarta. He only made sure that in the dispute there were two victims who were the victims of the three drunken youths.

The two victims were hit on the left cheek and one of them was threatened with a small knife carried by one of the drunken youths.

"There are two victims. We will direct them to the Kebayoran Baru Police to make a report," he said.

Nasrin explained that the three people who were drunk and causing trouble had been taken to the Kabayoran Baru Police, South Jakarta. The evidence that was secured by the police was a small knife from the hands of a drunk youth who was made to threaten residents.

"There has been no stabbing, only beatings accompanied by threats," he said.
