Robber Mode Crash Motorcycle Into Victim's Vehicle, Men In Tanjungbalai Arrested

MEDAN - The Tanjungbalai Police Team arrested the man who did the theft named Raimanda Rahman Pasaribu (29). When in action, the perpetrator used the mode by crashing his motorbike into the victim's motorbike, then taking the victim's belongings.

The Head of the Public Relations Subdivision of the Tanjungbalai Police, Iptu Ahmad Dahlan, said the victim of the crime was named Jefry Yos Gani. The incident occurred on Thursday, February 4.

Iptu Dahlan explained that the incident was first discovered when the victim's father received a call from the Tanjungbalai City Hospital. The hospital informed about the victim had an accident.

The victim told her father that she was a victim of theft. The victim recounted that during the action the perpetrator hit the victim's motorbike with his motorbike.

"Then the perpetrator took the property of the complainant's child and fled," said Iptu Dahlan, Wednesday, February 23.

Hearing this confession, the victim's father immediately reported the incident. Getting the report, the police then investigated the case.

From the results of the investigation, it is known that the victim's items stolen by the perpetrator were sold to a collector named Aditya Syahputra. The police then arrested the perpetrator Aditya on Jalan Sipori Pori, Teluk Nibung District, Tanjungbalai City, Wednesday, February 16, afternoon.

From Aditya's statement, the police know the whereabouts of the Raimanda perpetrator on Harapan Island, Binjai Bay, Kualuh Hilir District, North Labuhan Batu Regency.

"Then officers led by the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanjung Balai Polres, AKP Eri Prasetiyo, set out in pursuit, and the perpetrator was arrested on Thursday, February 17, in the early hours of the morning," he explained.

The two suspects were then taken to the Tanjung Balai Police for questioning. From the examination, it turned out that the perpetrator was also a specialist in theft of motorbikes from inside the house.

The last time, Raimanda's perpetrators took action, Sunday, January 16, in Tanjung Balai Selatan District. He took a motorbike parked inside the house.

"As a result of this incident, the complainant suffered a loss of Rp. 35 million and reported this incident to the Tanjung Balai Police," he said.

However, for the mode of crashing a motorcycle, said Dahlan, this is the first time it has been done. Now the two perpetrators are in police custody.

"They are subject to Article 363 paragraph (1) to 3 e and 480 to 1 e of the Criminal Code," he said.
