Majene Police Increase Patrol To Invite Community To Vaccinate
MAMUJU - Majene District Police, West Sulawesi Province (Sulbar) intensified patrols to invite residents to vaccinate.
"The Majene Police carry out routine activities by intensifying patrols to invite residents to vaccinate," said Majene Deputy Chief of Police, Kompol Ujang Saputra, in Majene, Monday, February 21 evening.
He said the Majene Police together with all related parties from the government and the community are currently trying to maximize vaccine achievements to the target of 100 percent in the community.

"The aim of the vaccine is to achieve herd immunity through vaccination, which is believed to be very effective in suppressing and dealing with the current pandemic," he said.
According to him, the request for a vaccine will continue to be carried out by the Majene Police in order to suppress the spread of the COVID-19 virus and the new variant of Omicron.
He said appeals and invitations for vaccines were carried out in shopping centers, markets, and crowd centers.
"Traders are reminded and invited to vaccinate, those who have not carried out stage 1 and 2 vaccinations are directly vaccinated on the spot in a humane way and with the willingness of visitors and traders, aka not forced," he said.
