Similar To Ganjar Pranowo, Gus Yasin Also Came To Wadas To Meet The Residents Who Were Against It
PURWOREJO - Deputy Governor of Central Java, Taj Yasin Maimoen, visited Wadas Village, Purworejo Regency, last Saturday 19 February. Just like Governor Ganjar Pranowo, Gus Yasin came without an escort.
Gus Yasin took the time to come there on the sidelines of his working visit to listen to residents' complaints regarding the polemic in Wadas.
Arriving at the Nurul Huda Wadas Mosque, Gus Yasin was greeted by the public with the song Yalal Wathon. The number two person in Central Java, also seemed familiar with greeting the children who happened to be invited by their parents to the mosque.
"I personally express my concern, with an incident like yesterday. Thank God I saw the children were happy, already cheerful. The community has started to return to their activities," said Taj Yasin.
To the residents, Taj Yasin admitted that he had listened to the residents' concerns through Gus Fuad as a community leader in Wadas. He said that he had already got an idea of the polemic that was going on.
According to Taj Yasin, the root of the problem from the start was communication. For him, if communication is built properly and transparently from the start, it will not cause big problems.
"I saw that there was a communication error, let's fix it together. At least if there is a discussion problem, it must be clear from the beginning, I'll tell you to know everything. It's called buying and selling, so you have to know the price, 'how much did you buy, what's next', it should be like that, right?" explained Taj Yasin agreed by residents simultaneously.

Previously, Gus Fuad conveyed the chronology of events and the rejection of some residents regarding the mining of the Wadas quarry for the construction of the Bener Dam.
He said, there was no transparency and socialization from the start from the village apparatus. This will continue until the residents find out for themselves the clarity of the mining plan in Wadas.
"Residents are restless, wanting to plant is also not calm. Finally, the elders sent a letter to the village head. But there was no reply," said Gus Fuad.
Furthermore, Gus Fuad questioned the position of Wadas which was used as a mining site. In fact, in terms of location, Wadas is separated from the Bener Dam. He also highlighted the issue of land acquisition appraisals that were deemed inappropriate.
This made the residents even more restless. Gus Fuad said the residents felt that there was no justice that should be received.
"Why is this wadas included in the PSN while the material is separate where we want to take the material. This means that it is not a project location. Second, this appraisal was announced after we all agreed. So it's not an agreement, how much is the price before we agree, that's not it. That's what the residents feel is unfair. There is no transparency, socialization," he explained.
