Social Minister Risma Ensures That 2022 BPNT Can Be Disbursed In Cash
JAKARTA - Social Minister Tri Rismaharini ensured that the Non-Cash Food Aid (BPNT) or Basic Food Card for 2022 could be disbursed in cash to accelerate distribution.
Risma said that the realization of the distribution acceleration will be assisted by PT Pos Indonesia.
"To accelerate the distribution of aid, for the first quarter we made direct transfers," said Risma as quoted by Antara, Saturday, February 19
This was done against the background of President Jokowi's direction regarding the acceleration of the distribution of social assistance in 2022.
In addition, from the experience of distributing BPNT 2021, according to Risma, there are many things that are hampered by transactions.
"Because there are so many transactions that have been hampered. Even last year, there were still around 3 million KPM (Beneficiary Families) who had not made transactions," said Risma.
Risma said that the distribution of BPNT was carried out for three months at a time, namely January-March.
Meanwhile, the distribution of social assistance for the Family Hope Program (PKH) is carried out directly through top up to the account of each KPM.
"Starting next week, PKH can immediately disburse for the first quarter," said Risma.
