VIDEO: Silmy Karim, President Director Of Krakatau Steel Expelled By DPR, Successfully Installs Debt Through Restructuring

JAKARTA - The name Silmy Karim, the President Director of Krakatau Steel became a conversation after being expelled by Deputy Chairman of Commission VII DPR, Bambang Haryadi, as chairman of the Hearing Meeting (RDP), Monday, February 14. Silmy Karim has held important positions in state-owned companies, such as PT Barata Indonesia, PT Pindad and PT PAL. One of his achievements while holding Krakatau Steel was the restructuring that had an impact on the ability to pay off fantastic debt installments. Even now PT Krakatau Steel has managed to record a profit. Regarding the debt repayments resulting from the restructuring, Silmy Karim explained it when interviewed by VOI recently.
