First Dose Vaccination In Jambi 87 Percent, Second Dose 61 Percent
JAMBI - COVID-19 vaccination in Jambi Province reached 87.72 percent or as many as 2,356,431 people from 2,686,193 people who were targeted, had been vaccinated with the first dose.
"The achievement of vaccination in Jambi for the first dose was 87.72 percent and the second dose 61.87 percent," said Head of Public Information for the Jambi Province COVID-19 Task Force, Johansyah in Jambi, as reported by Antara, Monday, February 7.
The achievement of COVID-19 vaccination in all districts and cities in Jambi Province is already above 70 percent, there are even areas that have reached 100 percent, namely Jambi City 111.56 percent, Tebo Regency 93.15 percent, West Tanjab 86.52 percent, Sungai Full City 84.79 percent, and East Tanjab Regency 84.77 percent.
Bungo Regency 80.97 percent, Muaro Jambi 80.71 percent, Merangin 79.16 percent, Batanghari 78.91 percent, Sarolangun 77.96 percent, and Kerinci 73.50 percent.
"Nationally, Jambi's COVID-19 vaccination achievement was ranked 16th for the first dose and 10th for the second dose," said Johansyah.

The achievement of vaccination for health workers in Jambi is 125.53 percent, for public officers 149.29 percent, and vaccinating adolescents aged 12-17 years is 90.91 percent. Furthermore, the achievement of vaccination of the community and vulnerable groups is 72.56 percent, and the elderly group is 67.72 percent.
Currently, the Jambi Provincial Government is pursuing the achievement of vaccination for children aged 6-11 years. The children who had been vaccinated were 157,201 for the first dose. In addition, Jambi is also pursuing the third dose of vaccination, which currently has only reached 1.37 percent or 36,737 people.
"The Jambi Provincial Government is currently pursuing a full dose of COVID-19 vaccination so that group immunity can be formed properly," said Johansyah.
