As Of Today, Wisma Atlet Hospital Kemayoran Is Filled With 63 Percent Of COVID-19 Patients

JAKARTA - There was an increase in the occupancy rate for treating COVID-19 patients at the Kemayoran Athlete's Wisma Emergency Hospital today.

Head of Information for Defense Area Joint Command I (Kogabwilhan), Marine Colonel Aris Mudian said, as of today, there are 204 people who have just entered from Wisma Atlet as COVID-19 isolation patients.

So, currently, the isolation bed capacity at Wisma Atlet is filled with 63 percent of the total 8.173 beds provided.

"Inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Hospital are 5.174 people. Initially, there were 4.970 people being treated and today there are 204 people," said Aris in his statement, Thursday, February 3.

In detail, there are 2.804 women and 2.370 men who are undergoing isolation in towers 4, 5, 6, and 7 of the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran COVID-19 Emergency Hospital.

It was noted that since the beginning it was used as a place of isolation on March 23, 2020, until now, the COVID-19 Hospital of Wisma Atlet Kemayoran has treated 142.367 coronavirus patients.

"There were 137.193 patients discharged with details of 135.500 recovered, 1.097 were referred to other hospitals, and 596 people died," he said.

Currently, all isolated patients being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Hospital are people without symptoms and people who have symptoms of COVID-19, both mild and moderate. Then, the case of the Omicron variant was also isolated at Wisma Atlet Kemayoran.

Then, the isolation capacity of the Nagrak Cilincing Flats today has 3.248 beds filled with isolation patients. Yesterday, the Nagrak Flat was filled with 3.348 patients. Today reduced by 100 patients.

Meanwhile, the isolation capacity of Pasar Rumput Flats today has 4.604 beds filled with isolation patients. Yesterday, the Grass Market Flat was filled with 4.295 patients. Today added 309 patients.
