Jerinx's 'Smile' After The Capture Of Adam Deni

JAKARTA - The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police arrested Adam Deni for the alleged illegal access case. He is said to have posted other people's documents on social media.

Head of Public Information, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, said that Adam Deni's arrest took place on Tuesday, February 1.

"Adam Deni has been secured by the Dittipidsiber of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Police for the crime of uploading personal electronic documents without the owner's permission," said Ramadhan, Wednesday, February 2.

This arrest was not just done. Because, in handling this case, investigators have asked for testimony from witnesses and experts.

"The witnesses who have been examined are 4 people and 8 experts," said Ramadhan.

In addition, Ramadhan also stated that the handling of this case was based on the police report LP/B/0040/I/2022/SPKT/Dittipidsiber Bareskrim Polri dated January 27, 2022. In which, a reporter is a person with the initials SYD.

In this case, Adam Deni has been named a suspect and detained. He is also threatened with being charged with Article 48 paragraphs 1,2 and 3 in conjunction with Article 32 paragraphs 1,2 and 3 of the ITE Law.

On the other hand, the arrest of Adam Deni seemed to be good news for Jerinx. Where, the Superman Is Dead drummer has to deal with the law after Adam Deni reported about the alleged threats.

Jerinx, who heard the news of the arrest after undergoing a trial at the Central Jakarta District Court, did not respond specifically to this matter. However, he had hoped that the arrest of Adam Deni could become a separate consideration for the judge with the case he was undergoing.

"This Adam has a track record of extortion, of all kinds, there are also victims. There is also the case of him insulting President Jokowi," Jerinx said.

"So I hope Mr. President Jokowi reads or sees this video, don't wait for what Adam Deni has done. So if he is not dealt with by the authorities, this case will be repeated because he feels this is a normal thing. Because in Bali we believe that karma exists," he added.

In addition, Sugeng Teguh Santoso, as Jerinx's attorney, is optimistic that the arrest of Adam Deni will have a positive impact on his client.

"With regard to the Adam Deni case with the acquittal, the potential for acquittal is great. We will reveal the evidence regarding the incorrect evidence and the fulfillment of the articles in the indictment," said Sugeng.
