JAKARTA - The owner of "Doge Whisperer" Dogecoin developer account, has reminded the community of the importance of the recent Dogecoin 1.14.4 update. This is also supported by Elon Musk, who is the world's leading innovator-entrepreneur, centibillioinare and the most influential DOGE fan.

On August 30, Musk tweeted that the importance of upgrading the new Doge nodes was high and that it would make the network more secure and lead to lower transaction fees later on.

According to Doge Whisperer's tweet, now 763 nodes have implemented the upgrade because of Musk's tweet. But the network needs more new nodes, the tweet said.

On September 7, the eighth-ranked Dogecoin fell below the US$0.30 level, hitting a low of US$0.22, as Bitcoin fell below the US$50,000 level. The last time DOGE was seen at this price level was in early August.

While Musk instead laughs at some media outlets turning his tweets into clickbait titles

The media has turned the tweet into a clickbait title involving Dogecoin and the coin's co-founders controlling the news outlet's efforts to grab readers' attention in this way. Elon Musk commented on that with a double ROFL (laughing rolls) emoji.
