No Need For A Third Application, Jenius Now Supports Transactions To Riyal Currency Real-Time

JAKARTA Jenius announced a new foreign currency for its foreign currency service. Now, the company supports payment transactions involving the exchange of Saudi Arabia's Riyal currency.

"It was a bit leaked that two days ago we launched an additional foreign currency," said SMBC Indonesia's Head of Digital Banking, Irwan Tisnabudi. "Saudi Arabia Riyal. So, we now have ten foreigncurrency that can be used."

Currently, Jenius supports ten foreign currencies, including the US dollar, the Australian dollar, the Hong Kong dollar, the Singapore dollar, the Euros, the British Pounding, the Japanese Yen, the Chinese Yuan, and the Thai Baht.

With this real-time currency exchange, users no longer need to withdraw their rupiah currency, exchange it for money changers, and take advantage of the third application. Users can directly buy, sell, withdraw cash at ATMs in other countries using Jenius.

Users will see the money cut in rupiah, but the money paid will be included in the relevant currency in the country where the transaction is made easier for users traveling to various countries.

This Riyal currency targets users who are preparing for Umrah or pilgrimage pilgrimage. Users can make transactions in real-time for 24 hours every day. This means that there is no time limit for making transactions.

The addition of foreign currency is part of Jenius' extensive ecosystem development over the past nine years. In that period, Jenius has launched more than 70 innovations.

The developments included debit card features and credit cards, including the first digital credit card launched about two years ago. Transaction features such as cashback and split bill have also become part of their services.

Apart from SAR, Jenius also leaked plans for other foreign currency features. The company will add five more foreign currencies for their deposit services. However, no currency will be disclosed.

The addition of the five new foreign deposits is expected to be launched at the end of November. The addition of foreign currency in this deposit is believed to strengthen Jenius' position as the main choice of banking digital application and service in traveling abroad.
