JAKARTA - In the Tech in Asia Conference 2025, the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid, invited global investors to put their trust in Indonesian startups.

Along with the event, the Ministry of Komdigi also held the 2025 HUB.ID Connection Hub, which brought together 20 leading Indonesian startups with global investors.

Meutya said that these 20 leading startups reflect the creativity and toughness of Indonesia's new generation of innovators.

"They bring global enthusiasm, but they remain rooted in solutions for society," Meutya said at the event, quoted Friday, October 24.

Since its launch in 2022, HUB.ID has linked more than 240 startups to more than 80 global investors and corporate partners.

The program has facilitated more than 2,600 meetings to be depleted and resulted in investments and business partnerships worth more than US$60 million or around Rp994.2 billion.

In addition, Komdigi also introduced Startup Indonesia Dashboard, an integrated national database to map and connect startups with investors in various sectors and regions.

The platform will help investors assess business potential, and help policymakers see the direction of national digital growth.

Director General of Digital Ecosystems of the Ministry of Communication and Digi Edwin Hidayat Abdullah emphasized the importance of strengthening all components in the startup ecosystem so that the risk of failure can be reduced.

"We need to orchestrate the ecosystem. Collaboration between the government, the private sector, and the community is the key," he said.

Through collaboration between startups, investors, and the government, Indonesia continues to strengthen its position as a home for digital innovation that grows from trust and engagement.
