Realme Gandeng RICOH GR Presents Street Photography Experience At GT 8 Pro

JAKARTA - Realme has officially announced the company's long-term strategic cooperation with RICOH IMAGING COMPANY LTD. in launching the realme GT 8 Pro.

The realme GT 8 Pro is claimed to be the first smartphone to carry a development-product camera feature with RICOH GR. Thus, users can enjoy an authentic street photography experience, capturing every moment with precision, using only a cell phone camera.

"This strategic partnership with RICOH GR marks a big leap in the world of smartphone photography," said Vice President and CMO realme, Chase Xu in his announcement Tuesday, October 14.

Carrying the theme 'Snap by No Rules', the R&D realme team and RICOH IMAGING made thorough adjustments to the GT 8 Pro realme camera system.

This smartphone's main camera uses an ultra high transparency linen group developed with RICOH IMAGING. This lens is equipped with the best anti-light performance in its class, high resolution power, and low distortion.

Through the Snap Mode feature, users can first determine the focal distance to capture moments. For framing, the GT 8 Pro realm presents two focal lengths, namely 28mm and 40mm (full-frame equivalence).

In addition, there is also Viewfinder Mode hiding all additional interface elements, making the real world like a photo frame, so users can fully focus on the moments they want to perpetuate.

The realme GT 8 Pro also introduces five Classic RICOH GR Tones, Positive Film, Negative Film, Monotone, and High-Contrast Black & White. Customized Tone features will allow users to adjust color parameters, contrasts, and saturation to suit personal preferences.

Through this collaboration, Realme and RICOH GR transformed the experience and photography expertise of RICOH GR for decades into the realme GT 8 Pro, added Kazunobu Saiki, General Manager of Camera Business Division at RICOH IMAGING COMPANY LTD.

The realme GT 8 Pro will soon be launched globally, bringing the legendary RICOH GR street photography experience to more users around the world.
