NTT DATA And Cisco Encourage Network Modernization For AI Adoption

JAKARTA - NTT DATA and Cisco released IDC InfoBrief Wired for Intelligence, a strategic guide for companies to modernize the network to accelerate the transformation and adopt artificial intelligence effectively.

This study confirms that network modernization is key to the successful implementation of AI. More than 78% of companies state that network capabilities are very important when choosing the GenAI infrastructure provider.

NTT DATA and Cisco emphasize that modern networks not only support operations, but also prepare companies to face new challenges and opportunities.

Networks are required to be able to manage and secure AI workloads, ranging from training, inference, to complex cluster storage.

This shows that the network must be able to manage and secure the growing workload of AI, including carrying out complex training, inference, and storage clusters smoothly.

Modernization also includes direct AI integration into network operations, such as automated configurations, anomaly detection, self-healing, to smart monitoring to accelerate problem solving and improve user experience.

Several sectors, including manufacturing, health, and finance, have utilized AI in the network to increase efficiency, strengthen connectivity security, and reduce costs.
