Three New Mac Apps Apple Will Launch On MacOS Tahoe

JAKARTA Apple has presented the latest software for its Mac devices, namely macOS Tahoe or macOS 26. Through this update, this Cupertino company has brought many improvements.

The company not only introduced the Liquid Glass design, but also three new apps that will come for the first time. The app includes Journals, Phones, and Apple Games.

The previous Journal was an exclusive application for the iPhone. However, in macOS Tahoe, the application will be extended to Mac and iPad. Thanks to this expansion, all journal entries will be synchronized automatically via iCloud.

Interestingly, Mac offers a layout of two panels with larger screens. Apart from the Journal, Apple will present the Phone app. Previously, Mac users were able to access the phone, but could only be via the iPhone.

Now, users can directly access the application via Mac with the same features as the iPhone. Features such as Latest Calls, Favorites, and Voice Messages can be directly accessed on Macs.

Apart from presenting existing features, Apple will also include a new feature to the Phone app such as Call Screening and Detention Assistance. With these features, users can manage phone calls without having to switch to their iPhone.

Call Screening will automatically answer calls from unknown numbers and request information from callers. Meanwhile, Detention Assistance allows users to stay in line while waiting so they can continue working on Macs.

The third app introduced was Apple Games. This app will be an integrated center for all Mac users' gaming needs. Apple Games will be released simultaneously on macOS Tahoe, iOS 26, and iPadOS 26.
