JAKARTA - NTT DATA announced the launch of the NTT DATA business unit for Microsoft Cloud to meet growing demand for the company's secure and AI-based cloud transformation.

This global unit combines NTT DATA's industrial and technical expertise in Microsoft Cloud, security, and AI solutions as well as to accelerate modernization.

Our expanded collaboration with Microsoft reflects a shared commitment to helping clients face complex business challenges quickly, on a proper scale, and high trust, said Charlie Li, Head of Cloud and Security Services, NTT DATA, Inc.

Led by Aishawarya Singh, Senior Vice President and Head of the Global Business Unit for Microsoft Cloud, this unit builds power from NTT DATA's long-term strategic alliance with Microsoft.

This unit is expected to increase existing capabilities and expand its global reach, strengthening the role of NTT DATA as a trusted partner in the company's transformation.

"This global business unit and expanded collaboration allow companies to integrate AI smoothly, modernize operations, and achieve digital transformation with confidence," said Stephen Boyle, Global Leader, SI & Advisory Microsoft.

The announcement follows the positive momentum of NTT DATA's AI Services for Hyperscaler AI Technologies service, which builds on Azure and Azure AI Foundry.

In just 90 days, the company said that the service had resulted in nearly 100 company clients, including Newell Brands.

This interest shows the high demand for AI-based automation, intelligent work flow, unobstructed integration of the company's system, and the need for a scalable solution from the trial stage to a full implementation.
