JAKARTA Apple has announced a new set of features for the iOS 26 operating system at the Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2025 event. However, there are still some features that Apple has yet to announce.
According to a Briomberg report, there are two features that are still in the development stage and will be present in the coming months. The two features are direct translation via AirPods and synchronization of Wi-Fi connections throughout Apple's ecosystem.
The live translation feature AirPods will solve the problem of language limitations. With this feature, users can have direct conversations with people who speak other languages.
Users will hear real-time translations via their AirPods, similar to other live translation features on iOS 26. Meanwhile, the Wi-Fi connection synchronization feature will help users connect their devices at once.
For example, when visiting a cafe, you want to connect your MacBook and iPhone to the same Wi-Fi. Instead of connecting the network one by one, you only need to connect one device to Wi-Fi and the rest will be synchronized.

Rumors of the launch of these two features actually appeared before WWDC 2025 was held, but both were not discussed during the keynote. It's not clear why Apple didn't talk about these two important features.
It is possible that Apple deliberately did not discuss it to be careful. The reason is, the company has several times announced advanced features at its annual conference event, but the feature continues to be delayed and has not been released, exactly like Siri, an advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Siri.
