Palo Alto Networks Emphasizes The Importance Of Cyber Education For The Young Generation

JAKARTA - The younger generation is currently growing with technological expertise. However, this expertise does not necessarily protect them from increasingly complex cyber threats.

Realizing this challenge, various parties are moving to strengthen the digital education and security ecosystem, including strengthening an intelligent and character digital generation.

One way is to strengthen the capacity and readiness of digital talent, through learning or the AI curriculum and coding for elementary to high school students which will be implemented in the new school year.

Adi Rusli as Country Manager, Indonesia, Palo Alto Networks sees that a comprehensive cyber education framework is the foundation for Indonesia's national resilience and welfare in the future.

"By realizing the close connection between digital literacy and security, we also need to realize collaboration between the government, industry, educational institutions and the community," Adi said in a written statement quoted on Sunday, May 11.

According to him, equipping the next generation of students with comprehensive cybersecurity knowledge and curricula will help overcome talent gaps in cybersecurity.

In addition, Adi emphasized that protecting young users requires an integrated approach to education, awareness, and development of effective and inclusive solutions.

"By empowering parents, educators, and the younger generation to use the right tools and knowledge, we can help them explore the digital world with confidence and safety," he concluded.

As his commitment to educating children, families and educators about safe online practices, Palo Alto Networks has the initiative of Cyber Safe Kids.

This program provides interactive tools, educational materials, and guidelines from experts to develop a more secure digital space where young users can explore and learn with confidence.
