Youth Activities In Character.AI Now Can Be Monitored By Parents

JAKARTA Character.AI has received many warnings since last year because of the content they developed. In fact, this chatbot accepted the lawsuit because it was accused of damaging the mental health of teenagers.

With so many problems that Character.AI accepts, the Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based platform has finally launched Parental Insight, a new tool for parents. While using Parental Insight, parents can know all their teenage activities.

This tool was launched to address parents' concerns about their child's activities at Charter.AI. They can directly monitor what their child is doing, including what characters are used to communicate every day.

There are three main features available on Parental Insight. First, parents can find out how long their children use Character.AI every day, either in the mobile app version or on the website. Next, there is information about the top character.

There are thousands of characters available on Character.AI and its users may already use dozens or dozens of characters. Of the many characters that have been used, Parental Insight will display the most frequently used characters.

Finally, users can see the time spent chatting with each character. That way, they can determine whether their child just enjoys chatting with a fictional character or has entered the addiction stage.

At Parental Insight, parents can add their emails. Later, Character.AI will send reports of their children's weekly activities regularly with the title "You Youth" to distribute their activities on Charter.AI.

For now, Parental Insight has just launched in the early stages. Charter.AI is still developing the feature while receiving masuuk from its teenage users, parents, and youth safety organizations.
