JAKARTA - Samsung is rumored to be bringing significant changes to the Galaxy Z Flip 7, especially in terms of external screens. The latest leak claims that this foldable smartphone will have a full-sized outer screen wrapping the camera module, a large improvement over previous designs.

Since the first generation, the Galaxy Z Flip series has always come with small external screens whose functions are limited. However, competition in the foldable phone market is getting tighter, especially with the presence of devices such as Motorola Razr+ (2024) that already use a full 4-inch outer screen.

Samsung began to catch up by expanding the external screen to 3.4 inches on the Galaxy Z Flip 5, although its design still leaves empty space around the camera. Preliminary leaks mentioned that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will retain this design with a slight increase in screen size to 3.6 inches.

However, the latest information from Android Headlines shows that previous leaks turned out to be wrong. Now, the updated leak shows a final design with a full external screen close to a 4-inch size, similar to the concept of Motorola Razr+.

Initial Leaking And Design Change Errors

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the second half of 2025, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 7. With this increased external screen, Samsung seems to be getting more and more serious in perfecting the folding phone experience to make it more competitive on the market.
