JAKARTA Samsung attended the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 event featuring the Galaxy S25 Edge, a thin phone for the S series. This is the second time the phone has been exhibited.

Previously, this phone was seen on the Galaxy Unpacked without any leaks. When introducing the standard Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra at the end of January, Samsung also displayed the Galaxy S25 Edge at the launch arena.

However, this device cannot be touched to prove whether the Galaxy S25 Edge is indeed very light as Samsung claims. It's not clear when this phone will be officially released, but Samsung is showing off the device again.

Still the same as the exhibition at Galaxy Unpacked, the Galaxy S25 Edge looks on display by hanging and no one is seen holding the device. Apparently, Samsung still forbids participants from holding their cellphones.

The appearance is also not much different from the last Edge display. The screen is left off, while the back body looks innocent with the support of two camera lenses. So far, the color doesn't look diverse.

Some time ago, The Verge estimated that this phone has a thickness of 6.4mm. This thickness is indeed thinner when compared to the standard Galaxy S25 which has a thickness of 7.2mm.

Although it is not known for sure when this device will be released, one of Samsung's executives has confirmed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will be launched in April 2025. This device will come in three colors, namely black, silver, and blue.
