Meta Launches Multi Account Feature For WhatsApp On IOS In Beta Version

JAKARTA - Meta launched a multi-account feature for the iOS version of WhatsApp to several beta testers, in a WhatsApp beta update for iOS version 25.2.10.70.

This feature was first launched for the Android version of WhatsApp. However, WABetainfo found Meta testing this feature for iOS users.

This multi-account feature will allow users to log into different WhatsApp accounts, but only through one WhatsApp application.

According to WABetainfo's findings, users will be able to select between two options when adding a new account to the app. They can set up the device as the main account by starting from scratch or scanning the QR code to link a new account as a companion account.

Don't worry, because notifications, chats, backups, and other account settings will remain different for each account, because each account will operate independently in the application.

Thus, this feature provides an easy way to manage personal, professional, or other accounts simultaneously without having to have two devices or two WhatsApp applications.

Because, nowadays many users rely on WhatsApp Business to manage a second phone number, even though they don't have a business.

Because, this method is considered a practical solution for those who need separate accounts but do not have other devices or hold two phones simultaneously.

However, this feature is still in the trial phase. It is not yet known when this multi-account feature will be rolled out globally. But, let's wait for the next update from Meta in the future.
