JAKARTA - The Telecommunication and Information Accessibility Agency (BAKTI) of the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) with the Ujung Kulon National Park Office.
This strategic collaboration aims to strengthen communication services in 3T (Front, Outermost and Disadvantaged) areas, especially in supporting environmental conservation and increasing access to information for the surrounding community.
"We are committed to ensuring that every region, including conservation areas such as Ujung Kulon, has adequate telecommunications access," said Acting Director of Public IT Services and the BAKTI Government of Komdigi, Sudarmanto.
With the BTS to be built, BAKTI hopes that conservation efforts can run more effectively with qualified technology support.
Responding to this, the Head of the Ujung Kulon National Park Office, Ardi Andono, also emphasized that the construction of this BTS will have a significant impact in supporting operations in the field.
"Better connectivity will help us in managing more effective conservation areas, especially in monitoring rare animals such as the Javan rhino. In addition, this infrastructure will also strengthen our relationship with the surrounding community in supporting conservation programs," said Ardi.
