JAKARTA - In addition to Circular (SE), the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs is currently also working on regulations related to the use of artificial intelligence (AI).
The Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid, gave the responsibility of making the regulation to the Deputy Minister of Communication and Information, Nezar Patria, and was given three months.
"We are planning to increase it to the level of regulations, this is discussed by the Deputy Minister of Nezar and we have assigned him within three months we will also make the regulations," said Meutya after the inauguration of the Ministry of Communication and Industry High Officials on Monday, January 13.
Meutya also emphasized that currently Indonesia already has a Ministerial Circular on Artificial Intelligence Ethics, which according to her it is the first in ASEAN.
"We actually already have a SE related to Artificial Intelligence. For SE Al, Indonesia is actually one of the first in ASEAN to have it," he said.
