JAKARTA - Recently the ride-hailing company Gojek decided to close two of its services, GoLife and GoFood Festival. As a result of this decision, Gojek had to lay off 430 employees.

As a form of concern and solidarity, Gojek held free training for partners who had been laid off. It is hoped that this solidarity program can help them to develop their business in the future.

It was explained that this program aims to improve skills through online training which is expected to be a useful provision for partners to earn additional income.

Various skills have been provided, as a form of Gojek's responsibility at the end of the service of its partners. Prepared skills programs, ranging from training to start a home business, using social media for business to starting a culinary business.

This training is provided to all BP Business Partners (BP) and Service Providers (SP), with a selection of curated class materials. For partners with disabilities, Gojek has also prepared special training in collaboration with DNetwork.net - the Disability network.

Gojek also provides cash for active partners who meet the criteria to support daily needs during the transition period. The GoLife service will end on 27 July.

Change Business Strategy
