Congratulations! Prince William And Kate Middleton Successfully Reach 13 Million Followers On Instagram

JAKARTA - Prince William and Kate Middleton have reached a milestone in the British royal social media history. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have reached 13 million followers on their Instagram account @dukeandduchessofcambridge on 20 July.

Quoted from Cosmopolitan Internasional, Thursday, July 22, this achievement makes their account the most popular among other members of the Royal Family. The official Instagram account @theroyalfamily has 10.3 million followers which is used as a source of news for the Queen, as well as sharing throwback photos or sending birthday wishes to family members

Meanwhile, Prince Charles and Camila Parker-Bowles' Instagram @clarencehouse has 1.5 million followers. In addition, Princess Eugenie's personal account has 1.5 million unique followers.

In the @dukeandduchessofcambridge Instagram account, the two couples often upload photos and videos carrying out their public duties. Not only about work, Kate and Prince William also often upload lots of personal photos when they have free time.

In one recent photo uploaded by @dukeandduchessofcambridge, Kate is seen wearing a more casual outfit than is commonly seen so far. The photo shows Kate being injected with the first dose of the coronavirus vaccine in May. The post has since garnered more than one million likes.

Every year, the Royal Family also shares photos or videos of each of their children to celebrate their birthday. Prince George, their eldest child, will turn eight tomorrow and many are already looking forward to seeing the new image of the future King.

The couple also frequently post congratulations to other family members on important occasions, such as Father's Day or after birth announcements.

Seen not long ago, after Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle welcomed their daughter Lilibet into the world, the official Cambridge account shared a black and white photo of the couple.

"We are all delighted with the news of the arrival of baby Lili. Congratulations to Harry, Meghan and Archie." wrote Instagram @RoyalFamily which has more than one million likes and 13,000 comments.
