JAKARTA – The development team behind Cardano (ADA), Input Output HK has announced that it has successfully updated the network and the use of smart contracts in the cryptocurrency Cardano.

Launching Coin Insider, a previous pilot network project called Alonzo Blue has delivered a number of features that are part of smart contract execution.

However, the functionality of Alonzo Blue is still limited for a small number of users. Now the Cardano developers have presented Alonzo White which allows up to 500 users to validate, stake and work on projects as developer testers.

On the other hand, the developer will also upgrade Alonzo to the Purple stage. So not only Alonzo Blue, now Alonzo White, in the future there will be an increase in Alonzo Purple as well which is the last testnet in the Cardano development phase.

The project has had a positive impact on Cardano's future, not to mention the arrival of the next phase.

Cardano leader Charles Hoskinson said that ADA was on the right track with its roadmap. Hoskinson mentioned that more than $10 million worth of non-fungible tokens (NFT) have been sold on his platform.

Hoskinson explained that the NFT industry will continue to increase in the future. He also considered that Cardano is not just a store of value, but ADA is a cryptocurrency with the potential to be used in greater functionality.

Cardano's leadership is optimistic about ADA's future. He revealed that Cardano will release dApps, NFT, and other smart contract operations on the mainnet in the future.
