Samsung Exynos AMD RDNA 2 Chip Test Score Is Far From Apple A14 Bionic

JAKARTA - In early June, it was reported that Samsung was developing the Samsung Exynos AMD RDNA 2 chip internally by the company.

Interestingly in the report, this processor can easily beat the chips currently on the market. In fact, rumors like this are often created to create hype for future products. However, the leak emerged from a leaker who is known to be quite reliable and accurate, namely Ice Universe.

In his Twitter upload quoted from Neowin, Thursday July 1, the leaker showed the results of performance scores through benchmarks obtained by the Samsung Exynos AMD RDNA 2 chipset.

Apparently, the Samsung Exynos AMD RDNA 2 chip which is reported to be debuting inside the Exynos 2200 chipset has achieved an overall score of 8,134 points with an average frame rate of 50.3 in 3DMark's Wild Life GPU benchmark.

It is known that the Samsung Exynos chip with AMD RDNA 2 GPU is based on the Cortex A77 architecture combined with the AMD RDNA 2 GPU architecture. Therefore, this collaboration will certainly create even better performance.

The achievement of the Samsung Exynos AMD RDNA 2 benchmark score has 3DMark results that are able to surpass the Apple A14 Bionic chip which only has a score of 7668 and Snapdragon 888 with a score of 5,382.

With this superior score, the Samsung Exynos AMD RDNA 2 chip is planned to be available for smartphones and laptops. This chipset is predicted to be a gaming chip with monster performance, and of course it can run gaming, multi-tasking, content creation, and other activities without lag.

The latest report also mentions that the chipset will launch in July. Although still relatively new, the Samsung Exynos AMD RDNA 2 chip has attracted the interest of technology enthusiasts.
