JAKARTA - Apple and Google often compete in providing useful applications for their users. No doubt, the two often make the same features, but differ in sophistication.

One feature that Apple doesn't have on Android is Find My. This feature can turn your Apple device into a signal transmitter to find a lost device.

According to an analysis of 9to5Google quoted by The Verge, Sunday, June 20, Google will present a similar feature on Android. The analysis also found a button to enable the feature in the beta version of Google Play Services.

Interestingly, there is also a row of cities that show the phone's ability to detect the location of other devices. It is known, Android already has the same features as Find My, namely Find My Device. However, this feature can only be used to search for other devices that are turned on, connected to the internet and active GPS.

While Apple's Find My feature doesn't require it, it can even locate an accurate location using only the UltraWide Band (UWB).

Unfortunately, it is not yet known what kind of system will be used by Google. Even so, this device search feature is not only owned by Apple, Samsung also has a Galaxy Find which works similarly to the Cupertino giant, USA.
