JAKARTA - Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison together with the Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker), and Wadhwani Foundation officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Collaboration to Strengthen the National Employment Ecosystem.

Through this collaboration, training will be expanded to the network of 24 Labor Training Centers (BLK) of the Ministry of Manpower through the integration of the AI platform owned by the Wadhwani Foundation, namely JobReady and Genie AI, into the SIAPKerja ecosystem of the Indonesian Ministry of Manpower.

This integration will strengthen the participants' work readiness through more personalized career guidance, adaptive learning based on artificial intelligence (AI), and skilling modules designed according to the needs of the latest industries.

In addition to supporting job seekers, this initiative also encourages the development of digital entrepreneurship as part of efforts to accelerate the realization of the commitment of Indosat and Wadhwani Foundation to empower 1 million digital talents and 100 thousand Indonesian entrepreneurs through technology-based training.

The Minister of Manpower of the Republic of Indonesia, Yassierli, said that the world of work is currently undergoing rapid transformation due to technological disruption, digitization, and changes in industry needs that create a gap between labor competencies and labor market needs.

Therefore, the mutual understanding signed is a concrete step to strengthen the national employment ecosystem through an integrated, adaptive, and technology-based approach.

In this MoU, the Ministry of Manpower will strengthen implementation through policy support, the national employment ecosystem, and the utilization of the 24 Manpower Training Centers (BLK) network.

Meanwhile, Indosat is playing a role in strengthening the program through connectivity support, technology ecosystem, as well as the development of digital capacity and business incubation for Independent Workforce (TKM), ranging from Beginner TKM to Advanced TKM.

President Director & CEO of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Vikram Sinha, stated that this collaboration is a tangible manifestation of its commitment to ensuring the democratization of AI in Indonesia.

"At Indosat, we believe that technology must continue to evolve to provide a better experience for the community. AI is not only about innovation, but about how technology can open up more opportunities, present more relevant experiences, and create real benefits for customers and Indonesia's younger generation," he said.

Meanwhile, the Wadhwani Foundation will support the curriculum, Learning Management System (LMS), as well as the JobReady and Genie AI platforms.

"With integration into SIAPKerja and the support of 24 BLK Kemnaker, we can reach millions of young people across Indonesia in a measurable way. The skills trained are skills that the current industrial world is really looking for, not yesterday's trends," concluded Meetul B. Patel, President of Wadhwani Entrepreneurship.

This MoU is valid from May 5, 2026 to 2029, with the possibility of extension based on mutual agreement.
