JAKARTA - Smartphones with up to 1TB of storage are currently rare, but Apple plans to embed that much memory in the upcoming iPhone. Chances are it's the iPhone 13 Pro.
Citing Macrumors, Sunday 6 June, reliable Wedbush analyst Daniel Ives reports, the iPhone 13 Pro will have storage and support for LiDAR technology. Actually, Wedbush has been claiming the support for a long time, but this time it's confirming that Apple will actually pin it down.
The decision to embed memory up to 1TB is certainly not without reason, because based on developing information, if the latest iPhone series is related to the new format introduced in the iPhone 12 camera, namely ProRaw.
So with a larger image file size, Apple's move is very appropriate for users by including a larger memory capacity on the iPhone 13.
It is known, similar rumors also appeared on the iPhone 12 before its launch. Unfortunately, after the release, the largest storage of the "Pro" series is only available up to 512GB.

In addition to 1TB of storage and LiDAR, the iPhone 13 will also reportedly come with a larger battery capacity. According to a leak that appeared on Twitter, the iPhone 13 Mini will be equipped with a 2,406mAh battery, the iPhone 13 and Pro 3,095mAh, and the iPhone 13 Pro Max 4,352mAh.
The appearance is also slightly changed, the notch will get smaller. Usually, the notch on the iPhone hasn't changed since the company introduced the iPhone X in 2017.
Others, Apple will also move the speaker hole to the top bezel. Which allows the sensors with the camera housing to be closer to each other.
Additionally, Apple will use a smaller VCSEL (vertical-cavity surface-emitting laser) chip to power Face ID, which will also allow Apple to shrink the notch.
