Crunchyroll Anime Streaming Service Now Available on Apple TV App

Crunchyroll, a popular anime streaming service, is now available as an official channel on Apple TV. Users can now reduce their storage by using only one app.

With this integration, users can complete the entire payment process to management using Apple ID easily. This integration also helps Apple in reaching new consumer markets so that the number of app downloads can increase.

In Indonesia, Crunchyroll subscription fees start at Rp15 thousand per month for the basic or Fan package. For the more premium package, users still pay under Rp20 thousand per month.

The presence of this new feature comes at a time when Crunchyroll is facing various challenges. Previously, users of the platform had been frustrated by the company's policies in recent months.

One of the issues that sparked the debate was the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the creation of subtitles. Last year, viewers found fatal errors in the German translation that allegedly used ChatGPT.

Crunchyroll blamed a third-party vendor for the incident and promised to fix the error. Unfortunately, the company still received negative sentiment from its users.
