JAKARTA - Midea officially introduced a new generation of humanoid robots called Miro U in Guangzhou. This robot is the first in the world with a six-armed design and a footing system to support the complex industry's duties.

Miro U is an upgraded version of the Mirea wheeled humanoid robot before. The old robot started operating in August at the Jingzhou factory. The robot works alongside autonomous mobile robots, single-sleeved four-wheeled robots, the Kuka system, and human workers.

Miro U will soon join the work system to increase operational efficiency. Midea targets this robot for multi-tasks and increased factory automation.

Vice President and CTO Midea, Wei Chang, called Miro U the third generation model in the company's humanoid robot line. This robot supports vertical lifting and full rotation of 360 degrees on the spot.

Miro U has six bionic mechanical arms with high precision control. The end tool module can be replaced quickly according to the needs of the task. All technology is developed by Midea independently.

Midea plans to place Miro U in a high-end washing machine factory in Wuxi by the end of 2025. The robot is expected to increase its time tax and production line adjustment efficiency by up to 30 percent.

This information opens an overview of the new direction of industrial automation that is increasingly futuristic
