Blibli Updates Cybersecurity And Defense Certification Ahead Of Harbolnas

JAKARTA Blibli announced that they had stepped up their cyber defense with the two latest certifications. This was done to welcome the 12.12 National Online Shopping Day (Harbolnas).

There are two international information security certifications pocketed, namely ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2019. According to Blibli, strengthening the platform is very important to maintain user enthusiasm in welcoming this annual event.

During Harbolnas, online shopping activities usually increase massively. However, this increase is often accompanied by the threat of digital crime. The Financial Services Authority (OJK) noted that digital fraud in this event has reached IDR 6.1 trillion.

Reported fraud modes are very diverse and continue to grow, ranging from phishing to the use of fake customer service accounts. In addition, there are also methods of social engineering and fraud based on Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Blibli continues to maintain ISO 27001:2022 certification as evidence that they managed to manage information security. Blibli is the first e-commerce in Indonesia to receive ISO 27001 certification in December 2019.

In addition, Blibli also maintains ISO 27701:2019, a global standard for data privacy governance (PIMS). This certification ensures that the protection of customers' personal data is in line with the Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27 of 2022).

"The update of the ISO 27001:2022 and ISO 27701:2019 certification is proof of our commitment to maintaining the security of consumer data information and privacy," said IT GRC Manager Blibli Yosua Sugianto. He added that Blibli continues to strengthen cyber defense for safe and protected transactions.

Through these two ISO standards, Blibli ensures that every customer interaction is protected by a layered security system. This includes processes from application login, payment transactions, to physical store experiences.
