JAKARTA Character.AI, an application containing character chatbots with the support of Artificial Intelligence (AI), introduces Stories features. With this feature, users can create their favorite characters.

Stories work in visualization. Users can improve their storytelling experience with visualization of their characters. Users can also maintain their narrative by guiding the direction of the story.

Charter.AI says that Stories is a new format presented to improve the experiences of users who are under 18 years old. This feature is in line with the company's commitment to prioritizing the safety of teenage users.

"Stories offer a guided way to be creative and explore fiction, instead of open chat. This feature will be offered with our other multimodal features so that teens can continue to interact with their favorite characters," Character.AI explained, quoted on Thursday, November 27.

In Stories, users can choose two or three characters that will star in their artificial adventures. Next, users can choose the story and write genre, or automatically create, the premise of the narrative.

From this premise, the experience of playing will develop as a directed narrative where users must make frequent and impactful choices. Every decision taken by users will direct the storyline and pave the way for new narratives.

This feature is designed to be able to be replayed, where branched routes make each round feel more unique. In addition, Stories can also be shared so that users can discuss the storyline with friends.

Currently, Stories are launched for all users and can be accessed directly through the application or web Character.AI. Users simply select the desired Character, select the genre, and follow the steps of making the premises.
