JAKARTA POCO, Xiaomi's sub-brand, has introduced its newest mobile phones globally, namely POCO F8 Pro and F8 Ultra. Both of these phones are attracting attention because their new features look prominent.

This feature is stereo speakers, the result of collaboration with Bose. Together with the American audio company, POCO wants to offer a much better audio quality than previous generation phones.

Although both are equipped with stereo speakers, the F8 Ultra variant offers better audio playback support. The phone gets additional features in the form of subwoofers, special speakers that can produce low-pitched audio, internally.

According to POCO, as reported by The Verge, this additional feature will make the F8 Ultra produce a 'deeper and more powerful bass'. That way, the produced audio will be slightly different from the Pro model.

POCO and Bose not only collaborate in terms of hardware, but also software. Bose has added two voice profiles to the F8 series which includes Dynamical mode and Balanced mode.

Dynamic Mode produces extra bass, while balanced mode will highlight clear vocals and make soundstage even. Despite focusing on audio, these two flagship phones also stand out in terms of performance.

The F8 Ultra is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, while the F8 Pro used the Snapdragon 8 Elite produced last year. Both also have different phone screens, namely the F8 Ultra with 6.9-inch OLED and F8 Pro screens with 6.59-inch screens.

Both of these phones have IP68 ratings and are equipped with batteries above 6,000mAh. The F8 Ultra offers three 50MP rear cameras and wireless charging, while the Pro model has decreased specifications on the camera.
