The national stablecoin project based on digital rupiah can really be used by the community and become part of the transformation of the digital economy. For this reason, the government is considered to need to prepare several strategic steps.

With a safe infrastructure, Calvin believes that every digital rupiah transaction is expected to be carried out quickly and trustedly.

"Second, drafting clear and protective regulations, covering aspects of security, privacy, and consumer protection, so that people and business actors feel safe using stablecoins," Calvin told VOI.

Because according to him, clear regulations must also ensure interoperability with traditional financial systems and a wider digital ecosystem.

Furthermore, Calvin stated that the government needs to encourage digital financial literacy and education, so that people understand how to use stablecoins, their benefits, and related risks.

"This educational campaign is important to increase adoption in all levels of society," he explained.
