Komdigi Collaborates With Indosat In Holding AI Training For Young ASN

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs together with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat or IOH), held artificial intelligence training (AI) for hundreds of young State Civil Apparatus (ASN).

Through the Kemkomdigi Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM), this initiative was designed to equip ASN with strategic and practical skills in the technology-based public service sector.

Head of BPSDM Ministry of Komdigi, Bonifasius Pudjianto said, to accelerate reform in the public service sector, the main aspect that needs to be strengthened is human resources.

"In today's technological development era, digital skills are no longer an option, but a must. Therefore, we collaborate with experts such as Indosat to equip ASN with the latest technological competencies," said Boni in a statement quoted on Tuesday, October 7.

The training discussed materials regarding the introduction of the basic AI concept, promotion engineering guidelines, and strategies to increase work productivity.

The submission of learning modules was presented directly by experts from Google and McKinsey. This agenda also emphasizes the importance of AI ethics and governance to support accountability and transparency in government.

Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison fully supports Komdigi's initiative to equip ASN with AI skills, continued Reski Damayanti, Chief Legal and Regulatory Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison.

Reski also emphasized that the readiness of the state apparatus in utilizing this technology will provide real benefits for the community as well as strengthen Indonesia's position in the map of global digital transformation.

"As part of the great goal of empowering Indonesia, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison is ready to become a partner of the government in preparing superior and AI-ready ASN, for adaptive and quality public services," concluded Reski.
