Intersystems Guarantees Data Security In The Era Of Increasing Cyber Threats

JAKARTA In providing integrated data platforms, Intersystems guarantees the safety and privacy of patient data. This is conveyed to address concerns about cyber threats that continue to rise.

The data technology provider company insists that it continues to follow the highest global standards. However, the Managing Director of InterSystems, Luciano Brustia, cannot guarantee the security of its platform by 100 percent.

"There is no chance to save (the data) 100 percent. Anyone who says their platform is 100 percent safe, they (sured) to cheat," Luciano said when met at the Asia Healthcare Summit 2025 on Wednesday, September 3.

Luciano stated that InterSystems operates with the highest data security standards worldwide, including in the United States and Europe. This includes strict certification as regulated by the European Data Protection Act (DPA).

According to him, security is not just a matter of technology, but a continuous process that must continue to adapt. Therefore, Luciano refused to claim his safety up to 100 percent because this was considered unrealistic.

To ensure its platform remains safe, Luciano promises to update its technology over time. This needs to be done so that the system they develop can be one step ahead of cybercriminals.

Regarding guarantees to clients, InterSystems ensures patient data will be protected by encryption wherever the data is stored. This applies to both in the cloud such as AWS, Google, and Azure, as well as on internal (on-premise) servers.

"This is the highest security system we can provide today," said Luciano. However, he stressed that new challenges will always arise and companies are committed to continuing to improve their systems as technology continues to develop.
