Jakarta elevAlte, a training program developed by Microsoft with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi), has succeeded in achieving the training target of one million talents.
In fact, the number of talents trained has been more than the expected target. Within eight months, Microsoft and Komdigi managed to train 1.2 million Indonesians with knowledge about Artificial Intelligence (AI).
This success shows that the interest of the Indonesian people in studying AI is very high. According to Arief Suseno, Microsoft's AI National Skills Director, this achievement is not only a number, but also evidence of an increase in AI literacy.
Reaching more than one million participants is certainly a big achievement. However, the most inspiring thing is how this learning spirit develops into a broader movement, led directly by learners and communities," said Arief.
The head of the AI talent training from Microsoft added that this program will continue to run so that everyone can learn about AI. To achieve this expansion, Microsoft will collaborate with 'partners and those who continue to encourage access to learning'.

Since its inception, elevAlte has been a program designed to accelerate digital transformation in Indonesia. This is in line with the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045 which requires more than 600,000 digital talents every year.
Therefore, elevate is here to equip the public with the literacy and AI skills needed in the future. This program can be followed by all groups, ranging from students, teachers, ASN, MSME players, to the general public from non-technical backgrounds.
To attract the interest of the younger generation, elevate uses a pleasant approach through Minecraft Education. This approach introduces the concept of coding and AI visually and collaboratively. Currently, the program has been used in several elementary and secondary schools to grow interest from an early age.
