JAKARTA - Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs, Meutya Hafid, said the governments of Indonesia and China agreed to strengthen strategic partnerships in the development of artificial intelligence infrastructure (AI), and digital talent.
During a meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia, Wang Lutong, Meutya, told China to collaborate in the development of AI technology in Indonesia in priority sectors, such as fisheries and agriculture.
Some agricultural land in Indonesia has implemented AI technology. Meutya hopes that this support from China can improve the capabilities of AI devices used in the agricultural sector to increase production.
