JAKARTA - In commemoration of World Youth Skills Day, Jobstreet by SEEK Indonesia affirms its commitment to empowering 44 million young Indonesians (15-24 years old) through innovative digital learning solutions.

Through my Career platform available on the app, Jobstreet by SEEK presents short video content that includes essential skills ranging from basic digital literacy to the introduction of artificial intelligence (AI) technology that can be accessed for free.

Since its first launch in Indonesia in 2022, for AI use skills, Jobstreet by SEEK has presented a series of Microsoft 365 Copilot training videos that can be used to support jobs in various professions and for job seekers.

This platform focuses on direct practical skills that can be translated into job opportunities, namely data analysis, digital marketing, customer service, and developing AI literacy.

This is in line with the findings of Jobstreet by SEEK, where 86% of global companies estimate AI and information processing technology will transform their business by 2030.

In fact, 71% of companies now consider AI's knowledge as a valuable asset in the recruitment process. Meanwhile, a report entitled "Global Talent Decoding 2024: GenAI Edition" reveals that 52% of Indonesian candidates have tried GenAI in their work or personal life.

With the need for 9 million additional digital workers by 2030 in Indonesia, the urgency of developing affordable skills is very important. Jobstreet by SEEK is committed to helping the government achieve this target.
